Our commitment
PrintableFinds respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. If you believe that content on our site infringes your copyright, this page describes how to submit a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") — and how to file a counter-notice if you believe your work was removed in error.
How to submit a DMCA takedown notice
To be valid under Section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or the signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, provide a representative list.
- Identification of the material on our site that you claim is infringing, with enough detail to allow us to locate it — including the full URL of the page(s) in question.
- Your contact information, including your full legal name, physical address, telephone number, and email address.
- A good-faith statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement of accuracy, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Where to send your notice
Send DMCA notices to our designated agent at:
Zain Khan, Editor-in-Chief
PrintableFinds (a Zarrar Tech project)
Email: info@printablefinds.com
Subject line: DMCA Notice
We accept DMCA notices by email only. Please do not submit takedown requests via the general contact form — it will delay processing.
What happens after you submit a notice
- Review. Our team reviews the notice within five business days for completeness and validity.
- Removal. If the notice is complete and appears valid, we will remove or disable access to the material identified.
- Notification. We will notify you when action has been taken. If the material was uploaded by a third party (e.g., a contributor), we will also notify them and provide a copy of your notice.
- Counter-notice window. The alleged infringer has the opportunity to submit a counter-notice (see below).
Submitting a counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a DMCA counter-notice. To be valid, your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location (URL) where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact information: full legal name, address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.
Send counter-notices to the same email above, with subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice".
What happens after a counter-notice
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the party that submitted the original takedown notice. If that party does not notify us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringer, we may restore the removed material.
Consequences of misuse
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly, materially misrepresents that content is infringing (or that removed content was removed by mistake) may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. We take DMCA abuse seriously and may refer bad-faith notices to law enforcement.
Repeat-infringer policy
We terminate access privileges for anyone who repeatedly submits materials that infringe the copyright of others, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion.
